Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger is an Austrian-born American with many talents to his name.

Arnold rose to prominence as a result of his roles in blockbuster action films, then he later served as Governor of California from 2003 to 2011.
Born on the 30th of July 1947, in a tiny village in Austria, he is the second child of his family. He was raised in a Catholic family that went to mass every single Sunday.
Arnold says that he grew up in a strict and harsh German Austrian family, and the parenting style his father used would pretty much be frowned upon today.
Arnold’s father had hoped for him to become a cop when he was younger, while his mother insisted that he join a trade school.

Arnold was crowned Junior Mr. Europe in 1965. He then went on to be the youngest person to ever win the Mr. Universe title in 1967 (he was 20-years-old at the time).
Arnold went on to collect a bunch of exciting different titles in bodybuilding before he retired. His retirement wasn’t long-lasting, however, as he returned a few years later to compete for a second time.
Upon re-entering the world of bodybuilding, Arnold ended up winning the Mr. Olympia title for the second time in his life.
Now, there’s something called the Arnold Classic annual bodybuilding competition that honors Arnold Schwarzenegger’s legacy as one of the most significant figures in the history of bodybuilding.
Arnold owns gyms and fitness periodicals; he has hence remained a major figure in bodybuilding even after his final retirement.
Bodybuilding was the first stepping-stone in Arnold’s career, but then he turned to acting, and he’s very well-known for his work in Hollywood too.
